Installed cost depends on how many zones you need, which efficiency tier you choose, electrical upgrades, and how complex the line-set route is. A simple single-zone is a different project than a whole-home multi-zone retrofit.

Will a mini-split heat my house in winter?
✅ Yes — when it is sized and specified correctly. Hyper-Heating models are designed for cold-climate performance, including full capacity at 5°F and operation well below that. For most Everett and Seattle winters, that is more than enough.
Can one system cool and heat?
✅ That is the point of a ductless heat pump. It reverses. You get summer cooling and winter heating from the same equipment.
Are they ugly?
✅ Wall units are visible, and we will be honest about that. They are also compact and quiet. If you want them out of sight, we can look at floor units, ceiling cassettes, or short-run ducted indoor units.
Do I still need my furnace?
✅ Sometimes. Some homes use Mitsubishi zones for the rooms that struggle and keep a furnace or heat pump for the rest of the house. Other homes replace the old system entirely. We will tell you which path makes sense after we see the layout.
